happy new year all :)

heya all, i am back from NYC 5 days ago and it was one tiresome trip but without a doubt it was awesome, despite the fact that it was expensive but i had a blast :) anyhowwwww pictures speak a thousand words rite? lol..so far this post would possibly contain the most pictures i had ever posted! so let the fun begin....

Basically the most expensive cheesecake i had ever eaten! 8.95 w/o tax and tips..with tax and tips it cost me like 10 dollars a slice..it was so rich, till it was so darn hard for me to swallow my last bite, haha my brother had to threaten me saying that the bits that was left was already work 1.50 or 3.00 if i didnt finish them up which i eventually did after much toture to my stomach.

We left NYC on the 26th to Boston, so on our way there we stopped by a couple of places, above would be Yale University :) it's classic!

And how could u not have lobsters in Boston, come on!

And this was the seafood chowder, i swear there were more ingredients than there was soup! So much fish! *faints*

We also stopped by to visit Mr. John Harvard in Harvard University, and APPARENTLY..if we rub his shoes we would become smarter..hrmmmmmm! who knows kan, no harm trying..!

And we also stopped by MIT which enrolls 65% of Asian students heehee! therefore i have caught a glimpse of the United States top universities :)

Was back from Boston on the 27th and then headed to Washington DC on the 29th! So this is the capital of Washington DC :)

Guess what? Yessss..this is the White House, it looked kindda small though..hrmmm!

Umm..i forgot what this place is called but i remembered it was significant cause apparently it was the place where umm the declaration of independence was signed!

Actually i have a lot more pictures than these, unfortunately my brother abducted our videocamera and i haven't uploaded our pictures, so these pictures were taken by a friend :) anyhowww so there was 24, 25 in NY, and then 26,27 in Boston, and then 28 in NY, and 29,30 to Washington DC and then 31 in NY and i left on the 1st. It was a crazy trip.. i was so deprived of sleep i slept from 7pm till like 11am the next day when i was back! Despite the fact that we were counting down for the year 2008 in Times Square! heeeeheee...it was insane, i dun think i will ever spend hours again lining up just to should 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 happy new year! if i am going to do it again, i would go super early so i can be in front and watch the concert, we were there like 5.30pm and we were like in the middle..nyehehehe! and it was cold, and my brother needed to pee and a friend needed to eat so we decided to leave the pent, which we were not allowed to get back in again. Nyehhhhh..after 1 hour plus of being a doink waiting. So we decided to go to the TGIF next to the road, and sit there till it was 12 so that we could at least go out and catch a glimpse since we couldnt get back in.

We were horrified when we saw the price..i shall not mention..it was just freaking expensive i could possibly have fine dined with the money! nyehehe and at 10.30 we went out..and eventually my gutsy brother talked to mr.nypd and told him we came all the way from Malaysia to come and see this..and after deciding for a while he said 'okay, there is still some space so he let us into the pent again'.....thank God we didnt just stay there in the cold like a fool muahahahaha! so yessssss...! and the Chinatowns in NY are huge, i just felt like as though i was in Hong Kong..i was so happyyyyy to see all the familiar groceries! Which i eventually bought some :) aaaaaahhhh blissssss! soooo soooo happyyyyyyy okay!!

anyhow when i touched down in minneapolis i was like omg its so cold, cause NY was only about 46F and worse still Wisconsin was like 7F, crazy okay but since i am back for a couple of days now i got used to it again. Unfortunately it is the holidays right now..and i am so damnnnnn bored =( what am i going to do the next 17days before spring starts *sobs* i enrolled in a winter online course but even then it doesnt keep me occupied as long as i am awake, therefore i have resulted in baking cookies yesterday and another batch today. Who knows what i am going to do tomorrow...help! mweeeeee...and also thanks to my friend, he gave me his tele! and u know american cable tele, so much to watch..so my tele has been on most of the time i am awake! heeeeeeee and also i have so much groceries there is no place to put themmmm... i am so dead when i shift *eeks*

anyhowwww time to prepare for cooking dinner tonight, marinated pork chops yesterday nyummmm! till then :) update you all soon muah!
